Verum Group offers a range of nation-wide contaminated site investigation services and soil sampling. Our capabilities include cost-effective preliminary and/or detailed site investigation; site remediation action plans; and ongoing monitoring and management plans. Supporting these we have portable XRF real-time soil assessment; experience in chemical testing and analysis; and extensive laboratory support services.
We have extensive experience with contaminated sites including from timber treatment, landfills, sheep dips, horticulture, mining, petroleum, or chemical storage/handling.
All site investigations and site reporting are compliant with the Ministry for the Environment guidelines as required by District and Regional Councils.

A Preliminary Site Investigation (PSI) reviews historical land use and available information to determine if contamination may be present. A Detailed Site Investigation (DSI) involves sampling such as soil and groundwater sampling along with laboratory analysis to confirm and assess contamination levels.
